WEDDING ENTERTAINMENT IN DUBAI & ACROSS THE UAE

Live bands, DJs, wedding shows and first dance choreography, created and produced by one team for weddings in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.

WEDDING ENTERTAINMENT FROM ONE CREATIVE TEAM

Wedding entertainment is the part of the day your guests remember long after the menu and the flowers. EFT Entertainment Group creates and produces wedding entertainment in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and across the UAE: live bands and vocalists, wedding DJs, string players for the ceremony, original wedding shows, grand entrances, and dance choreography for the couple, the bride and the family.

We are a show production company first. Our own choreographers, professional dancers, musicians and show creators work on every wedding, so the entertainment is planned as one programme for the whole day rather than a list of separate bookings. We work alongside your wedding planner, venue and caterer, or plan the whole wedding with you through our wedding planner service.

Every couple is different. Some want a quiet acoustic ceremony and a dance floor that never empties; others want a full show with costumes, light and special effects. We start with what you want your guests to feel, then build the music and the shows around it.

LIVE WEDDING BANDS, SINGERS AND DJS

Music carries the whole wedding day, so we plan it in parts, each with its own sound:

  • Ceremony: violin, a string duo or quartet, piano or an acoustic vocalist for the walk down the aisle, the vows and the exit.
  • Welcome drinks: jazz, acoustic or lounge sets, saxophone, or a musician who plays among the guests.
  • Dinner: a live band or vocalist at a volume that lets people talk, playing a repertoire you approve.
  • Party: a wedding band with lead vocalists, a wedding DJ, or both: the band for the first big sets, the DJ to keep the dance floor full until the end. A saxophonist playing live over the DJ set is a favourite combination.

We match the repertoire to your guests: international hits and classics, Arabic, Indian, Russian and European music, or a mix for a multicultural guest list. You hear examples of the musicians before you confirm, and we agree your must-play and do-not-play lists in advance. Sound, lighting and the stage plan for the band are part of our production, so you do not need a separate technical supplier.

FIRST DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY

Your first dance should look like you, not like a routine you are trying to remember. Our choreographers create a first dance for the couple from scratch, based on your song, your style and how much you have danced before. Most couples start with no dance experience at all.

  • First meeting: we listen to your song, talk about the mood you want (romantic, a classic waltz, tango, playful, or a slow start that breaks into a surprise upbeat mix) and see how you move together.
  • Music edit: we cut your track to a comfortable length, usually two to three minutes, or mix two or three songs for a change of pace.
  • Private lessons: regular sessions with your choreographer at times that suit you. A simple, elegant dance needs fewer lessons; lifts or a mash-up need more, so we plan the number with you once we know the routine and your date.
  • Dress and venue: we adapt the steps to the wedding dress, the train, your shoes and the size of the dance floor, and rehearse in the dress or a practice skirt before the day.
  • Final rehearsal: where the venue allows, a run-through on the real floor with the lighting cues and the DJ or band.

For extra effect we can add low smoke for a “dancing on the clouds” moment, cold sparklers, a lighting change, or our dancers joining you for the finale.

THE BRIDE’S SURPRISE DANCE AND BRIDAL ENTRANCE

A surprise dance from the bride is one of the most emotional moments of a wedding, especially when the groom has no idea it is coming. Our choreographer prepares the bride alone, with her bridesmaids or with our professional dancers, and keeps it secret until the moment. The bride can dance for the groom, for her family or for all the guests.

The bridal entrance is the other big moment. We stage it like a scene from a show: the doors open to live strings, a vocalist or a dramatic music edit, our dancers form a corridor or perform around the bride, and light, smoke or cold sparklers mark the reveal. For traditional weddings with separate celebrations, we adapt the entrance, the music and the performers to the format and the guests.

FAMILY, GROOM AND BRIDESMAID DANCES

Some of the best moments come from the people closest to you. Our choreographers prepare group dances for the bridesmaids, the groomsmen, the parents or the whole family: a father-daughter or mother-son dance, a groom’s surprise for the bride, or a flash mob that starts in the middle of dinner.

Family dances work at every level. We keep the steps simple for people who have never danced, can record practice videos so everyone learns at home, and plan a few group rehearsals before the wedding. Where it helps, our professional dancers join the family on the floor, lead the hardest parts and make the whole group look confident. Rehearsals are planned around busy families, including relatives who fly in only a few days before the wedding.

WEDDING SHOWS AND GRAND ENTRANCES

A wedding show turns a beautiful reception into an evening your guests talk about for years. Our show creators produce original wedding performances in-house, with costumes, choreography, music and light designed for your wedding and your venue. Popular formats include:

  • a welcome show as guests arrive, with performers in costume, living statues or angel-wing characters;
  • a grand entrance for the couple, with dancers, cold sparklers and a light and smoke reveal;
  • dance shows between dinner courses, from elegant classical numbers to high-energy pop and disco sets;
  • aerial acts, acrobats and LED performances for a ballroom or outdoor finale;
  • themed shows built around your story, your cultures or the place you met.

Every show is timed around the speeches, the cake and the dinner service, so it lifts the evening instead of interrupting it. Our team agrees the stage plan, sound, lighting and effects with the venue, and a show producer runs the performance on the night. See show production in Dubai for how we create our shows.

HOW ENTERTAINMENT FITS YOUR WEDDING DAY

This is how we usually plan entertainment through a wedding day. Every wedding is different, so treat it as a starting point:

  • Ceremony: live strings or an acoustic vocalist for the processional, the vows and the exit.
  • Welcome and photographs: a jazz or lounge set, a roaming musician or a welcome show while the couple is away for photos.
  • Grand entrance: the couple’s entrance into the reception, with music, dancers and effects.
  • First dance: straight after the entrance or after the first course, while the energy is high.
  • Dinner: a live band or vocalist, with short shows between courses.
  • Surprises: the bride’s surprise dance, family dances and the cake moment, spread through the evening.
  • Party: band and DJ sets until the end, with a final show or a sparkler send-off.

We send you a running order with timings, agree it with your planner and the venue, and our producer keeps it on track on the day.

WEDDING ENTERTAINMENT ACROSS THE UAE

Our company is licensed in Abu Dhabi and our production team works from Dubai. We create wedding entertainment for hotel ballrooms, beach resorts, gardens and desert venues in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. The performers, musicians and equipment travel to you, and we plan travel times, access and set-up with each venue in advance.

We create entertainment for Arabic, Indian, Western, Russian and European weddings, and for multicultural weddings that bring families from several countries together. If you are planning a destination wedding from abroad, we can run the planning by video call and meet you in the UAE in the final weeks.

To prepare a proposal we need the date, the emirate and the venue (if it is booked), the number of guests, the parts of the day you want entertainment for, and any songs, styles or traditions that matter to you.
